Honkai: Star Rail Natasha Build Guide

Honkai: Star Rail Natasha Build Guide – In this Honkai: Star Rail Natasha Build Guide, I’m going to share my Natasha Build, one who is an incredibly dependable support character. She has tons of abilities to heal all allies, making her a must-have teammate in almost every setup. I’ll be discussing the Stats and Skills you should pay attention to, the Light Cones and Relics to strive for, and the Companions to pick in order to make Natasha the best healer she can be. If you’re looking for an early game Level 40 Natasha Build, then this Guide is for you!

Honkai: Star Rail Natasha Build Guide

Natasha is a 4-star character, whom you get for free by progressing in Honkai: Star Rail’s Trailblaze Missions. She’s an amazing support character because she can often restore the HP of allies during critical situations, thereby improving their survivability.

Honkai Star Rail Natasha in Combat

On the downside though, she doesn’t deal Physical Damage that well due to a low Attack Stat. As such, she’s often paired with powerful damage dealers to do the slaying for her. These include Seele, Sushang, Hook, or Trailblazer (Physical) since they’re experts when it comes to dealing huge damage while inflicting devastating status effects. What’s more, is that adding other support characters such as Tingyun and Asta can help improve their Attack and Speed, respectively, allowing them to destroy enemies faster.

Honkai: Star Rail Natasha Build Guide – Stats And Eidolons

Natasha follows the Abundance Path and is only one of the two characters in Honkai: Star Rail to do so with the other being Bailu. It’s for this reason that she’s highly skilled at saving teammates in moments when she’s needed most, especially for long-winded encounters. To build Natasha as effectively as possible, you’ll be focusing on investing in Outgoing Healing Boost and HP.

Outgoing Healing Boost determines how much of an ally’s HP is restored. This is dependent on her Max HP, which means the higher the HP, the better her healing capabilities will be. Not only do you increase the chances of Natasha living longer in combat, but you also improve everyone’s survivability rate.

For substats, you should focus on Speed and Energy Regeneration Rate. For Speed, the sooner Natasha’s turn is, the better so that she can use her Love, Heal, and Choose Skill to heal an ally. On the other hand, Energy Regeneration Rate refers to how quickly you fill up her Max Energy, which is relatively low at 90, in order to heal everyone in the team. This is a game-changer and will always turn the tide in combat, especially when you’re faced with a difficult foe and your only chance of defeating them are Natasha’s abilities.

When it comes to Eidolons, you’d ideally want to unlock all of them because of how significant they are to Natasha’s healer build. But this isn’t to say that she’s weak since even at Eidolon Level 0, she’s very reliable. At Level 1, she gains access to Pharmacology Expertise in which she automatically self-heals when her HP reaches 30% or lower as part of her Talent. This functions quite similarly to Gepard’s Integrity Ability where he self-heals when his HP hits 0.

Pharmacology Expertise Eidolon Level 1

At Level 2, Clinical Research becomes available. Upon triggering Natasha’s Ultimate, she’s able to heal allies again in the next turn. Note that for this to take effect, their HP needs to be less than or equal to 30%. And, at the start of their turn, the HP they gain scales with Natasha’s Max HP + 160. Lastly, at Level 6, her Basic Attack’s Physical Damage is amplified based on her Max HP thanks to Doctor’s Grace.

Honkai: Star Rail Natasha Build Guide – Skills And Traces

In this section, we’ll talk about Natasha’s Skills and Traces together with what you should prioritize in combat.

  • Innervation (Talent) – This passive helps allies recover well if they’re only left with 30% or less HP due to Natasha’s boosted Outgoing Healing. Outgoing Healing is further increased by unlocking Healing Ability at Character Ascension 4 and by equipping any of the 3 Light Cones I’ll discuss in the next section.
  • Hypnosis Research (Technique) – This active technique allows Natasha to initiate combat by dealing Physical Damage, which scales with her Attack. But since she’s not really equipped at dealing massive damage, Hypnosis Research may not seem beneficial. However, if you don’t have another Physical damage dealer in the party and you intend to potentially break most enemies at the start of combat, then this technique is your best bet. It provides you with a 100% base chance to reduce their Toughness to 0 as long as their Effect Resistance is low.
Hypnosis Research (Technique)
  • Behind the Kindness (Basic ATK) – This regular attack is the other Physical damage dealing ability of Natasha. You won’t be using Behind the Kindness often unless you intend to save skill points and you’ve unlocked Doctor’s Grace to significantly boost her damage.
  • Love, Heal, and Choose (Skill) – This is a wonderful skill where you heal an ally and then restore their HP for 2 more turns thereafter. Love, Heal, and Choose is particularly helpful due to the amount of HP you replenish. And this is based on Natasha’s Max HP, making it essential to unlock all of her HP Boost Traces. You’ll also want to gain access to the Soothe and Recuperation Abilities. Soothe lets you remove a debuff from an ally of your choice in addition to healing them. Comparatively, Recuperation, which you can unlock at Character Ascension 6, raises Love, Heal, and Choose’s number of continuous healing turns from 2 to 3.
Love, Heal, and Choose (Skill)
  • Gift of Rebirth (Ultimate) – This is Natasha’s best skill where she gets to heal everyone, including herself. Similar to Love, Heal, and Choose, Gift of Rebirth scales with her Max HP.

Honkai: Star Rail Natasha Build Guide – Light Cones

When it comes to Light Cones, the ones you’ll want to chase after for Natasha’s kit are Cornucopia, Post-Op Conversation, and Time Waits for No One. Cornucopia is a 3-star Light Cone, which boosts Natasha’s Outgoing Healing when she uses her Skill or Ultimate Ability. You can ascend this Light Cone by up to Level 30 while waiting for Post-Op Conversation.

Post-Op Conversation is a 4-star Light Cone that also increases Natasha’s Outgoing Healing but this time, when she’s activating the Gift of Rebirth Ultimate. Additionally, her Energy Regeneration Rate goes up to trigger her Ultimate more often in order to ensure everyone’s survivability.

And last but not least, there’s the 5-star Light Cone known as Time Waits for No One. This is outstanding because it not only increases Natasha’s Outgoing Healing without having to trigger any skill but also raises her Max HP. As such, she’s able to considerably restore sizeable amounts of HP. Furthermore, when any of her allies attack, a random enemy takes extra damage based on Natasha’s Outgoing Healing value, thereby indirectly enhancing the damage she deals.

Honkai: Star Rail Natasha Build Guide – Relics

In terms of Relics, it’s important to remember that for the Head and Hands, your character gets a flat HP and Attack bonus, respectively. This isn’t the case for the Body and Feet, which are comprised of random stats such HP and Speed. Ideally, you’d want to equip 4-star Relics since they provide 2-3 substats in addition to their main stat. But remember that regardless of the rating, enhancing them for every 3 levels will yield a random substat. For a Level 40 Natasha, it’s enough to level up her Relics to a maximum of +6 for 4-star gear until you get their 5-star versions to reserve enough resources by then.

Honkai Star Rail Natasha Guide - Passerby of Wandering Cloud Set

For Natasha’s Relics, you’ll only need to wear one 4-piece set, specifically the Passerby of Wandering Cloud. This is straightforward in the sense that once again, Outgoing Healing is increased together with the team’s skill point by 1, at the start of every encounter. You can farm the Passerby of Wandering Cloud Set from the Cavern of Corrosion: Path of Drifting. For the Passerby’s Ragged Embroided Coat and Stygian Hiking Boots, you should prioritize Outgoing Healing Boost and Max HP Stats, followed by Speed and Energy Regeneration Rate.

Team Composition

In Honkai: Star Rail, you’ll have all four characters available while combat is ongoing so you won’t be swapping from one to the next. There also won’t be elemental pools left behind. Instead, you’ll focus on the enemy’s weaknesses to deplete their Toughness and HP accordingly. For this Natasha Guide, I’ll be sharing the best characters to go with her and how effective their skills are for this build.

Team Composition for Natasha

For your main DPS, you’ll want to go with Seele because of her ability to gain extra turns in combat upon slaying an enemy with Thwack, Sheathed Blade, or Butterfly Flurry Skills. She’s also a Quantum damage dealer, which means that she can inflict Entanglement to delay their actions further. Alternatively, you can go with Sushang who follows the Hunt Path as well. She specializes in breaking the enemy, resulting in dealing greater Physical Damage.

Next, you’ll want to pick a character from the Destruction Path since they deal huge damage and they’re resilient in combat. For this, you can go for Hook or Trailblazer (Physical). Hook is a good 4-star character that deals Fire Damage while Trailblazer (Physical) deals Physical Damage. Both characters inflict status effects to deal damage over time (DoT).

And lastly, for another support character, I suggest going with Tingyun. She follows the Harmony Path so she primarily buffs allies. In this case, Tingyun is highly equipped at boosting their Attack with the Soothing Melody Skill. She also restores some Energy upon using the Amidst the Rejoicing Clouds Ultimate. Alternatively, you can pick Asta, whom you gain for free by progressing in the game. The advantage of using her is that everyone’s Speed Stat increases when she triggers the Astral Blessing Ultimate.

Final Tips

Natasha is an incredible 4-star character and is a good choice for a support character because of the amount of HP she can restore. To fully make use of her abilities, you’ll want to start with the Hypnosis Research Technique, especially if you’re dealing with an enemy who is weak against taking Physical Damage. Doing so improves the chances of breaking them at the start of an encounter. Next, you should accumulate energy quickly in order to use the Gift of Rebirth Ultimate to heal all allies as needed. Should their HP be 30% or less, Natasha’s Outgoing Healing increases, allowing her to replenish a larger chunk of their HP. Finally, you’ll want to spam Love, Heal, and Choose if you’re facing challenging enemies in order to save teammates who need healing the most.

Remember though that the Gift of Rebirth should be reserved for critical moments only if you have Gepard in the party since he’ll trigger Enduring Bulwark often to make sure that everyone has Shields. Because of this extra layer of protection, Natasha can wait for the right time to activate her Ultimate. The ballpark I’d like to follow is when their HPs hit the 60-70% range. You can substitute Tingyun or Asta for Gepard, especially in Echo of War where you’re handling elites.

Gepard and Natasha in the Team

Lastly, when you manage to unlock Planetary Ornaments, you can go for the Sprightly Vonwacq 2-piece set. Doing so raises Natasha’s Energy Regeneration Rate. And as long as her Speed reaches 120+, she’ll be one of the characters to attack sooner at the beginning of an encounter.
